Why a NO vote in the Referendum is a Yes for a proud Greece in a Decent Europe – Talking with Phillip Adams, on LNL ABC Radio National

Late Night Live has been a daily companion of mine since 1989. Phillip Adams, its presenter, is someone I consider a friend (he, in fact, interviewed me in 1991 on the… Greek crisis!). In this (yesterday’s) program he added a touch at the very end of the interview that made me (almost) to break down. Thanks Phillip.

  1. A NO vote is a YES for a proud Greece but OUTSIDE Europe. That is what EU technocrats like Schäuble hope for. The only way to change Europe is to remain in it by voting YES. The only way to deconstruct EU’s abusive hegemony is from WITHIN. Using its own RULES. The debt committee, the Siemens committee, the German war reparations committee: those are the kinds of things EU officials fear the most and want to stop and end once and for all. And it looks like they have with Syrizas (and your) help. Who does Europe belong to anyway? Doesn’t it belong to us the people of Europe? Why would we vote ourselves out of our own home and hand it over to a bunch of corrupt EU officials? Common guys WTF is wrong with you anyway?
