Well, good analysis of the political landscape in Greece by Prof Kouvelakis, And while I don’t agree with all his views (I’m basically social democratic, this guy sounds like a communist to me), I wholeheartedly agree with his opinion that the left wing parties have to stop acting like they will always stay away from power, and instead of constant sniping at each and every reform they have to come up with concrete alternatives for a better future for Greece now! Voters are ready for a more left wing government, but to have confidence in this they need to hear what Syriza, the Democratic Left, and the Communist, want to do once in government. They want to hear positive proposals, not only criticism of the plans of the center/right parties! Saying no is easy, but saying “yes, we can” takes courage. The time has come for the Greek left to show that courage now, or else they’ll linger forever in obscurity.
